I thought it was time to update the blog with some recent photos of the theater. Although not much has changed appearance wise there have been a few updates since my last posts here. I finally got around to building the stand for the center channel speaker. It turned out pretty good and is virtually invisible. I have done lot's of tweaking with Room EQ Wizard and have found the best position and orientation for the subwoofer. Notice I removed the base plate from the Maestro sub. I have played with FR FL speaker position a bit and ended up aiming them down slightly and found the best imaging by aiming them so they intersect a couple of feet behind the prime listening location. I used to have them aimed directly at the prime seat. I have added some new equipment too: 5x1 HDMI switcher, UPS, Slingbox AV, Xbox360 with HD DVD add on, NAS for media storage, and I built a new HTPC with a touchscreen built in to the case.
