Day 24

Today they finished waterproofing all of the walls and continued framing out the bedroom, bathroom, and hallways. We also pretty much finalized the floorplan today. The biggest change from the original plan was the addition of a short hallway between the bedroom closet and bathroom, which basically cut down the size of the closet in half. This was done to avoid a step up into the bedroom that would have been required had the entrance remained from the rec room. We also decided to put in a 4' x 6' picture window rather than the 2 or 3 4x2's we originally planned. We figured one big window would look better mainly because of how deep the casing needs to be (about 8 inches). Also, we have decided to add a 2x8 window to the south end of the room.
