Day 81 - Here you can see the 2 inch overhang that follows the entire perimeter. The plan is to carpet the riser and tuck the lip like a normal stair. I am then going to run rope light under the entire lip. We used 1 1/4 rim board (the stuff they make stair treads with). We filled the center a with a layer of 3/4 inch plywood and a second layer of 1/2 inch. (I think). Everything was glued and screwed.
