Day 34 - So this is why those 3 pieces of 2x4 where stuck on the end of the 4x8 beam - they were spacers for these 3 new 20 foot 2x10's that form a T. Actually the kitchen floor right above here doesn't feel much different from when the original beams were there. The family room above the doubled up 2x10's is only a bit bouncier than before. We are pleased with these results.
